What is PVD Coating?

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a high-quality coating process that enhances stainless steel jewelry with a durable, scratch-resistant, and tarnish-free finish. Using materials like titanium or gold, PVD creates hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly shield on stainless steel jewelry that resists corrosion and wear.

Are your chains tarnish-free and waterproof?
Yes! All our chains are PVD-coated stainless steel and are waterproof and tarnish-free.

Are all charms tarnish-free and water-resistant?
Due to the wide variety of finishes & materials used in charms, not all charms are PVD-coated or guaranteed waterproof unless specifically labeled as such.

How do I care for my jewelry?

• PVD-Coated Jewelry: Wipe clean with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Charms: To maintain their quality, avoid prolonged exposure to lotions and perfumes. Remove jewelry before swimming or bathing.

What if a charm falls off?
We are happy to reattach any charm that falls off at no cost. However, we cannot replace lost charms, so we recommend double-checking the attachment after wear.

Can you accommodate group events?
Yes, we would love to host your group! Whether it’s a girls’ night, birthday party, or special event, we’ll help make it memorable. Email us at hello@wishuponmadison.com for more details.

Do you host off-site events?
Yes, we’re happy to bring the Charm Bar experience to you. Please inquire at hello@wishuponmadison.com for availability and details.

Can I order custom pieces online?
Currently, custom charm creations are only available in-store. For updates on online custom orders, follow us on social media or subscribe to our email list.

What’s your return or exchange policy for custom jewelry?
Due to the personalized nature of custom jewelry, all sales are final. However, we stand behind the quality of our pieces—if something doesn’t meet your expectations, reach out and we’ll do our best to make it right.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
We currently don’t offer traditional gift wrapping or boxes, but during the holiday season (December 1–31), we provide festive holiday-themed bags (complete with a ribbon tie) for your jewelry purchases while supplies last!
