My Slightly Strange But Go-To High Protein Breakfast - Scrambled Eggs with Cottage

My absolute favorite breakfast (like every day breakfast) is basic scrambled eggs mixed  with Cottage Cheese. Weird, maybe. Delicious, creamy and nutritious…absolutely! That and it has a high protein content which I generally try to stick to within my diet for the most part. 

Benefits:
1. Protein Powerhouse: Aforementioned, both eggs and cottage cheese have a high protein content.
2. Low in Calories, High in Nutrients: Eggs are rich in essential vitamins like B12, riboflavin, and selenium, while cottage cheese offers calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin B2.
3. Healthy Fats: Eggs and cottage cheese contain healthy fats (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats).
4. Satiety (fullness): Can help you curb hunger and reduce snacking with the high protein & healthy fat content to start out the day. 
6. Quick and Easy: This breakfast is a BREEZE to prepare. Take two (or how ever many eggs you want to eat), whisk, cook over Medium heat on the stovetop until 95% done, add one to two heaping Tablespoons of Cottage Cheese, mix and cook the remaining 5% til done.
